From personal experiences to global change

I was born and raised in Denmark with roots in Thailand. Those Thai roots have played a crucial role in shaping who I am today. During my travels to Thailand, I witnessed firsthand the huge contrasts that exist in our world: while some live in abundance, others struggle to survive under heartbreaking conditions.

These experiences gave me a perspective on life that I’ve never been able to shake. I’ve always had a strong desire to make a difference, but for a long time I felt limited to helping only through personal donations when visiting the poorest areas. It never felt like enough — I was searching for a way to create a bigger and more lasting impact.

When the vision became reality

My search for meaning in my professional life ended the day I started talking with my partner, Jesper. It quickly became clear that we shared the same vision and values. When Jesper asked if I wanted to help start Warm Souls, I had no doubt: this was my chance to become part of the solution.

To me, Warm Souls is not just a company that sells clothing and offers advertising space on water bottles. It is a tool to create real change and help people who truly need it. It is my dream of contributing to something greater, now being brought to life.

“I believe we can make a difference by combining business with human connection. Warm Souls is our contribution to a more balanced world.”

From perspective to purpose

I am half Filipino and half Danish, and I spent part of my early childhood living in the Philippines. My family was never poor, but we weren’t wealthy either. Still, growing up there opened my eyes in a way that never left me.

Living in the Philippines teaches you something early: not everyone starts life with the same chances. Whether you grow up worrying about your next meal, your clothes, or your future often comes down to one thing — where you are born. That realization shaped how I see the world. I’ve never been able to accept that a child’s opportunities, safety, and future can be decided by geography and luck.

When we later moved to Denmark, the contrast became even clearer. Years passed before I returned to the Philippines, but when I did, I was reminded just how wide the gap is between surviving and living with security. It’s something that still affects me deeply. I often think about how easily my life could have looked very different if I had simply been born somewhere else, to different circumstances.

Growing up inspired

My parents have always been an inspiration to me. My mother worked tirelessly to become a midwife, supported by parents who took big risks to fund her education. My father worked as a chef in different countries before they built a life together. Over the years, they started businesses from the ground up, sometimes succeeding, sometimes struggling, but always moving forward. They created opportunities where there were none.

Watching them taught me to dream beyond a normal 9–5 life. I’ve always wanted to build something of my own. But where my parents focused on building stability for our family and helping those around them, I began to feel a growing desire to create something that could help on a larger scale.

For a long time, I supported charities through donations, but I never felt truly connected to the impact. I wanted to do more — not just give money, but be involved in real, lasting change.

Why Warm Souls

At some point, a simple thought changed everything for me:
Why wait until I am successful to start helping? Why not build something that gives back from day one?

That idea became Warm Souls.

Warm Souls is not just a clothing brand to me. It’s a way to combine business with purpose. From the very first sale, part of what we earn goes toward helping people who need support — and we are committed to being transparent about that journey. As the business grows, so does the impact we can make. Yes, this is a business, and it must also support our families. But growth, for us, means the ability to take on bigger projects and create deeper change over time.

One of my biggest motivations is my own family — my fiancée and our three children. I want them to grow up seeing the world, understanding different realities, and learning empathy not just through words, but through experience. I believe that being present, meeting communities, and contributing directly will shape them into compassionate, grounded human beings.

I don’t do this for recognition. The people we help don’t need to know my name. If they only know Warm Souls, that’s more than enough. For me, knowing that we made even a small difference in someone’s life is what truly matters.

“Success, to me, isn’t about what we own — it’s about how many lives we can touch along the way. Warm Souls is my way of turning that belief into action.”
